Pool Dehumidifier

THE RIGHT DRY DEVICE FOR EVERY POOL

A pool enclosed by a room or patio is an environment where the relative humidity in the air is high. The water vapor gets trapped inside, condenses on the cold walls and the condensed water starts to drip,(* meanwhile, the air continues to be saturated with moisture). Many harms arise from this cycle: the appearance and smell of mold, debris, rust, etc. Using a dehumidifier is vital. In order to ensure the comfort of the pool users and to ensure the longevity of the indoor pool,

Swimming pools under greenhouse effect

We strongly recommend installing a ventilation duct dehumidification system in indoor pools with large glass areas on the walls and roof.

Pools with a closure system

Use between March-November: a simple dehumidifier with indoor or wall passage will provide a comfortable atmosphere when combined with the pool closure system.

The ambient air can be heated externally, the main sun rays may not require heating.

Year-round use: A dehumidifier with a water coil close to the pool, which works only with fuel oil or boilers, can provide comfort all year round.

SPAs
In indoor pools, we can often see spa treatments that are independent of or included in the pool. In such cases, the amount of water evaporated from the spa should also be added to the pool and the appropriate device should be selected accordingly.

Large Swimming Pools
Swimming pools that are built in larger areas and have higher temperatures also have higher evaporation rates. Here, when calculating evaporation, it is necessary to understand the parameters and equipment correctly to make thermal evaluation.

Important: Min. 22m³/h fresh air intake should be provided.

Different Dehumidification Systems
Zodiac® offers a wide range of solutions by dividing the dehumidification system into 3 different categories: indoor, wall-through and ducted devices. All these systems work on the heat pump principle: they take in hot and humid air and give out warmer and drier air.

Indoor Devices
These monoblock DT or Sirocco systems are designed for small volumes and do not require ducts. These devices can be placed in the pool area, 2 meters away from the pool.

It is the simplest and most economical way to keep the relative humidity in the environment at 65%.
However, it is not efficient for moisture that will form on the glass.
